The UP D.El.Ed. Admission 2025-26 process is now open if you intend to begin your career as a primary teacher in Uttar Pradesh. On November 22, 2025, the Examination Regulatory Authority, Prayagraj announced that the admissions process is entirely online.
The absence of an entrance exam is one of the best features of this course. Your grades in classes 10, 12, and graduation are the only factors that determine your admission. Thus, this is a fantastic chance to start your career if you’ve been looking for a trustworthy teacher-training program.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Requirements
You need a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized university.
- Minimum 50% marks for General category
- 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates
The final merit list will consider your Class 10th, 12th, and Graduation results.
Note:
- Candidates outside Uttar Pradesh can apply, but only as Unreserved.
- UP applicants must upload a valid Residence Certificate to receive reservation benefits.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 35 years
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates
(Age will be counted as on 1 July 2025.)
How the Selection Process Works
Since there is no entrance exam, here’s how candidates are shortlisted:
- Merit List
Your marks from High School, Intermediate, and Graduation are combined to create your merit score. - Category-based Ranking
UP candidates get reservation benefits; outside-state students do not. - Online Counselling
Two counselling rounds will be conducted. You can choose your preferred college here. - Document Verification
You must carry original documents during counselling. - Seat Allotment
After verification, seats will be allotted and classes begin in February.

How to Apply for UP D.El.Ed 2025-26
The application process is straightforward. Just follow these steps:
1. Go to the Official Website
Go to updeled.gov.in.
On the homepage, find “Candidate Registration Part-1” and click on “Click Here.”
2. Read the Instructions
A page with important guidelines will appear.
Scroll to the bottom, tick the declaration box, and press “Click here for registration.”s
3. Complete the Registration Form.
Enter your basic details:

Cell phone number
Birthdate
Educational data
Submit the form once everything looks correct.
- Get Your Registration ID
Your Registration ID and Password will be generated by the system upon submission.
Save these details carefully.
- Pay the Registration Fee
Back on the homepage, open “U.P. D.El.Ed Registration Fee.”
Pay the fee after logging in with your ID and date of birth.
6.. Fill out the entire application form.
The main form will open after the payment has been completed.
